The Learning Experience Partners With USDA to Offer Free Meals to Qualifying Students
The Learning Experience partners with Child and Adult Care Food Program to offer free nutritious meals and snacks to qualifying students.
The Learning Experience® (TLE®), the nation’s fastest growing early learning academy for children 6 weeks to 5 years old, in Blackwood, NJ, located at 606 Little Gloucester Road, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) to offer free nutritious meals and snacks to qualifying infants and children.
CACFP provides aid to child and adult care institutions and family or group day care homes for the provision of nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children, and the health and wellness of older adults and chronically impaired disabled persons.
CACFP is one of 15 nutrition assistance programs, including the National School Lunch and School Breakfast programs, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, and the Summer Food Service Program. These programs touch the lives of one in four Americans each year and, taken together, comprise America’s nutrition safety net.
