Man, 19, Killed In Camden Saturday Night: Officials
Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert and found a man who had been shot multiple times, officials say.
CAMDEN, NJ — A 19-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday night in Camden, officials say.
Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2300 block of South 8th Street and found a man who had been shot multiple times, according to Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez and Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer.
The man, Darnell Farrish, was taken to Cooper Hospital and pronounced dead around 8:18 p.m., officials say.
