Man Arrested In Sicklerville Man's Murder: Police
Jacob Rodriguez was arrested on Monday in the murder of Elijah Jackson.

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ - A Camden man has been arrested and charged in the fatal shooting of a Winslow Township man, authorities announced on Tuesday.
Jacob Rodriguez, 24, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Elijah Jackson, 39, of the Sicklerville section of the township, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson announded.
Jackson was found lying on the ground in the area of 7th and State streets after 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 27. He had been shot once. Camden County Police found him while responding to reports of a man who was unconscious in the area.

Jackson was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 11:14 a.m. During the investigation, detectives learned that Jacob Rodriguez had been in the area at the time of the shooting and allegedly shot at Jackson, authorities said on Tuesday.
Rodriguez was arrested without incident by the United States Marshals yesterday afternoon in Camden on unrelated charges on Monday, according to authorities. He was charged with the murder on Tuesday.

He was transported to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a pretrial detention hearing. Under Criminal Justice Reform rules, the court may order he be detained or released with conditions. The investigation is ongoing.
