Man Beaten To Death In South Jersey: Police

A South Jersey man has died as a result of an assault in the Whitman Park section of Camden, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said on Monday.

Camden County police found 47-year-old Kyle Bell, of Camden, inside his apartment while responding to a 911 call for an unconscious man the area of the 1200 block of Morton Avenue at about 1:33 a.m. on Sept. 12.

Bell was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was receiving treatment until he died two days later, police said. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests had been made as of Monday afternoon.
