Driver Dead After Car Hits Fence, Trees In Camden County Crash: Police
A single-vehicle crash early Monday claimed the life of a 46-year-old South Jersey man, according to police.
WINSLOW TWP., NJ — Officials say a Cumberland County man died Monday morning after his car went off the road, striking a fence and several trees before overturning.
The crash happened around 4 a.m. on Norcross Road, said police in Winslow Township. Damion Cheeks was driving a 2004 Lexus southbound when the car left the roadway and hit a wood fence and several trees, police said. The car then overturned.
Township police said Cheeks, 46, of Bridgeton was pronounced dead at the scene.
