Man Guilty Of Murder After Shooting At South Jersey Bar: Prosecutor
The 28-year-old shot another man in the head.

WOODBURY, NJ — A 28-year-old was found guilty of murder on Tuesday in connection with a shooting at a bar in 2022, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.
Walter Gilliano, of Franklinville, was also found guilty on two related second-degree weapons charges.
On Sept. 24, 2022, Franklin Township Police responded to a report of a shooting at Villari's Sports Bar.

Gilliano and 31-year-old Chad Stuart, of Clayton, were arguing in the parking lot after the bar closed before Gilliano got in his car and drove away.
He returned a few minutes later and, according to an eyewitness, pointed a gun at Stuart and shot him, officials said.

Stuart was found lying on the ground after being shot in the head. He was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Gilliano faces a life sentence in New Jersey State Prison with a minimum of 30 years to be served before being eligible for parole on the murder charge. He also faces a maximum of 10 years for each of the weapons charges.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 24.
