Gloucester Township, NJ -- A man was hospitalized after he was hit by a car while crossing Blackwood-Clementon Road in the area of the Dunkin Donuts Saturday evening, Gloucester Township Police said.He was hit by a car driving east at about 5:20 p.m. The driver stopped immediately and pulled over onto Cedar Lane, police said Sunday morning. The victim was transported by Gloucester Township EMS to Cooper Hospital for medical treatment and additional evaluations. The Blackwood Fire Company, Station 84, responded to the incident and assisted with stabilization of the scene and victim. The investigation is ongoing, and neither person has been identified as of Sunday morning.
