Man Wanted For Carjacking In Gloucester Twp. Has Been Caught: Police

The suspect attacked the victim with a plastic pipe and demanded their car keys, officials said.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man wanted for first-degree carjacking in Gloucester Township was apprehended Thursday, officials said.

Township police alerted the public Wednesday that Ryan P. Verdi was wanted for an incident in the Blackwood Estates Development. Verdi, 39, attacked the victim with a plastic pipe and demanded their car keys, authorities said.

Verdi then drove off with the victim's vehicle, according to police.
