Lil’ Slugger’s Accomplishments: McGettigan came up big with his team's tournament life o With Glendora down 5-0 in the bottom of the sixth and two outs, McGettigan stepped up to the plate with a calm and cool demeanor. He would end up hitting a 1-1 fastball over the center field fence at Barrington Little League, a home run of about 230 feet. The home run gave Glendora a run to break the shutout and kept his team alive.

Lil’ Slugger’s Key to Awesomeness: McGettigan is probably the easiest Glendora player to spot on the bench with his blue and yellow mohawk. A player with a keen eye at the plate and a solid ability to make contact, he also accounted for one of Glendora’s two hits
