Man Charged With Weapon, Drug Possession After Attemtping to Flee GTPD While Naked
Jason Davis was charged with multiple narcotics, weapons charges following incident Sunday night.

Gloucester Township Police apprehended a man who attempted to flee from a hotel room while naked and recovered several firearms, including a fully loaded AK-47 assault rifle, following an incident at Howard Johnson in Blenheim Sunday night.
Jason D. Davis, 35, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon (3 Counts), unlawful possession of an assault weapon, possession of a defaced firearm (2 Counts), possession of a firearm during a CDS distribution, certain person not to possess a firearm, possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (4 Counts), possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance with the intent to distribute (2 Counts), possession with the intent to distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 500 feet of a park, possession of CDS paraphernalia, obstruction of justice and lewdness.
Gloucester Township Police responded to the Howard Johnson on Sunday after receiving a report that a man inside of the room was in possession of a handgun.

Arriving officers spoke with Davis by phone, and Davis said he would surrender. However, Davis then attempted to flee the hotel through a back door while naked. He was quickly captured.
A further investigation lead to the discovery of a fully loaded shotgun, a fully loaded AK-47 assault rifle, one fully loaded handgun and one empty handgun, as well as a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, MDMA (ecstacy) and numerous Oxycodone pills as well as CDS paraphernalia.

Davis was transported to the Gloucester Township Police Department where he was processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility on default of $185,000 full cash bail.
