“So what?” you might ask.

In recent years, Remington & Vernick has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to Team Mayer-connected election campaigns. (And hundreds of thousands of dollars more have been contributed to Team Mayer-connected election campaigns from other firms receiving no-bid contracts with Gloucester Township government.)
In turn, Remington & Vernick has been awarded millions of dollars in no-bid contracts with Gloucester Township government.
So ask yourself: Why would a Haddonfield-based engineering firm want to have a stake in the outcome of a Gloucester Township Board of Education election?
And also ask yourself: How will Gloucester Township Board of Education candidates, if elected, vote on agenda issues that involve campaign contributors?
