UPDATE: One Dead Following Police-Involved Shooting in Winslow
The victim has been identified as Daniel Pierre, 42, of Winslow.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office will oversee the investigation of a police-involved shooting that resulted in one death in Winslow Friday morning.
Daniel Pierre, 42, of Winslow, was shot by a Winslow police officer as police responded to an incident at a home in the township at 9 a.m. Friday morning, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Winslow Police Chief Robert Stimelski said Friday afternoon.
Pierre was transported to Cooper University Hospital and died at about 9:30 a.m.

The officers were uninjured.
The Prosecutor’s Office will oversee the investigation as mandated by the state Attorney General’s Office whenever a a municipal police officer’s use of a firearm while on duty results in death.
