Police searched John Dempsey's Magnolia home after receiving a tip from the Thames Valley Police Department in Great Britain.

A tip from overseas has resulted in the arrest of a South Jersey man for possession of child pornography, authorities announced. John Dempsey, 31, of Magnolia, was arrested at his home without incident after authorities executed a search warrant, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Magnolia Police Chief Robert Stetser.
Detectives from the High-Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU) of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office conducted the investigation into possible possession of child pornography based on a tip supplied to them by the Thames Valley Police Department in Great Britain.
Detectives seized devices from his home during the execution of a search warrant, and the devices seized during that search were forensically examined on Oct. 5. According to authorities, Dempsey was arrested based on video police found on the devices.
