A 77-year-old Mullica woman was struck and killed by a car as she was leaving Christmas Eve mass in Hammonton, according to the Courier Post.

Delores Distler was struck and killed around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday evening. No charges are pending, according to the report.

A 17-year-old was killed after being hit by an SUV and a dump truck, also on Christmas Eve, according to the Courier Post.

The teen was killed at the intersection of Fries Mill Road and White Birch Road in Washington Township around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday evening. As the teen was crossing the road, an SUV attempted to avoid an accident, but was unable to. The teen was then hit by a dump truck, which was right behind the SUV.

The light was green, and an investigation into the accident is ongoing, according to the report.
