Police Investigating Suspicious Death in Gloucester Township

Rebecca Ugarte, 21, was found dead in her Austin Avenue home Tuesday afternoon.

Police are investigating the death of a Gloucester Township woman whose body was found Tuesday afternoon as a suspicious death, Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk and Gloucester Township Police Chief Harry Earle announced Tuesday night.

Rebecca Ugarte, 21, was reported dead in her home on the 100 block of Austin Avenue at about 1 p.m. by another resident in the home.

Her cause and manner of death have not yet been determined, but it is being investigated as a suspicious death by the the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit.
