Police Seek Suspect In South Jersey Sexual Assault
A woman said she was lured by an unknown man driving a van, who raped her in an abandoned building.
The Camden County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a sexual assault that took place in Camden on Sunday.
A woman told police she was approached by an unknown black or Hispanic man in a white van while she was on the 900 block of South Third Street late Sunday afternoon.
The man forced her to go with him to a nearby lot next to an abandoned building, where he sexually assaulted her before fleeing the area.

She was taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment.
The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male between 5’3” and 5’7.” A sketch of the suspect along with a picture of the van he drove are attached to this post.
