Registration Open For Citizens Police Academy In Gloucester Township
It is open to any Gloucester Township resident 16 years of age or older.

Gloucester Township. NJ -- Registration for the 2017 Gloucester Township Citizens Police Academy is now open. It is open to any Gloucester Township resident 16 years of age or older.
The 16th annual Academy will be a free 10-week course that takes place from Jan. 19, 2017, to March 23, 2017, on Thursday evenings, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The course will take place in a classroom setting to include an overview of the police department and the administration, police communications, special operations, criminal investigations, traffic safety, K9, Special Response Team, Crime Scene Unit and much more. Also, all attendees of the Citizen Police Academy will be trained in the use of CPR for the home.

The objective of the Citizen Police Academy is to produce informed citizens. The Citizens and Police Officers meet each other face to face in a neutral, friendly setting. Citizens will learn the importance of becoming a partner with the police department to keep our community safe.
