Resident Prevents Car Burglary at Blackwood Estates

An alert Gloucester Township resident prevented an alleged car burglary in his driveway late Sunday night, and now police are searching for the suspects involved in the case.

A Blackwood Estates resident was watching their security system cameras around 11:50 p.m. Sunday night when they saw four males in front of his home. Two of them began to walk up the driveway, but ran off toward Church Street near the Black Horse Pike when the resident opened the front door.

The resident described the suspects as being three white males and one black male, possibly in their mid to late teens.
