Other charges are pending for two people who allegedly broke into a York Terrace home Wednesday morning.

Gloucester Township Police are no longer searching for suspects in connection with a home invasion on York Terrace in the Erial section of the Township, police said Wednesday afternoon.

At that time, it was reported police were still searching for a person of interest, but police have since said that is no longer the case.

The police department assured residents no shots were fired and there were no hostages.

Several schools were placed on lock out, according to a statement issued by the police department early Wednesday afternoon. Schools included Erial Elementary School and Union Valley Elementary School, Erial Christian and Malvern.

A lock out is a school security procedure that secures the building perimeter from an external threat, while normal school activities occur inside the school.

The lockout was in effect for precautionary reasons, but was lifted around 1 p.m.
