South Jersey Man Sentenced In 2016 Murder
Vyron Johnson was also sentenced for injuring another man in the same incident.

A Camden man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for a fatal shooting that took place in 2016, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office announced.
Vyron Johnson, 31, of Camden, previously pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter in the death of Patrick Lowe. He also pleaded guilty to aggravated assault for injuring another man in the same incident.
It was the second man who was engaged in an argument with Johnson earlier in the night, according to the prosecutor’s office. Johnson left, but returned to the area about a half hour later in a light-colored minivan. The minivan was caught on video surveillance and was identified by witnesses, the prosecutor’s office said.

Johnson then got out of the vehicle and headed toward the 1200 block of Whitman Avenue, where he opened fire on the surviving victim, striking him and Lowe, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Arriving officers found both men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. They were rushed to Cooper University Hospital, where Lowe died as a result of his injuries a short time later.
