Accident on the Expressway Cleared; Speed Limit Restrictions Remain in Place

An accident with injuries that was causing a delay on the Atlantic City Expressway Friday morning has been cleared.

The accident was east of Exit 38 in Winslow Township, according to 511nj.org.

The accident occurred at a time when icy conditions are causing problems on local roads.

The Walt Whitman, Ben Franklin, Betsy Ross, and Commodore Barry bridges were reduced to 35 miles per hour. The walkway on the Ben Franklin Bridge is closed.
