Team Mayor Spending for the Nov. 4th Gloucester Twp Board of Education Elections

On the November 4th election ballot, Gloucester Township residents will vote to elect three members for the Gloucester Township Board of Education, and three members for the Black Horse Pike Board of Education.

Board of Education elections, in theory, are meant to be non-partisan, non-political, and focused on improving our schools.
However, the Team Mayer-connected candidates and PACs are spending unprecedented amounts on this election campaign. Including several partisan political-style negative attack ads.

Below is a summary of the recent spending by Team Mayer for this Board of Education election.*

PAC Name: Gloucester Twp Parents for Educational Excellence
PAC Chairperson: Suzanne Moore
PAC Treasurer: Ken Treger (who is also Treasurer for the Dintino, Gallo, Albright Troxell election campaign)
Stated Party Affiliation: None
Apparent Actual Party Affiliation**: Democrat
CONTRIBUTORS: $10,900 contributions received over the past 13 months. The largest contributor is an engineering firm that has contracts with Gloucester Township government, Remington & Vernick of Haddonfield.
B.O.E. Election EXPENDITURES: This PAC submitted reports to NJ ELEC declaring expenditures as follows: 1. Pronto Print, $385 for literature; 2. $701 reimbursement to Joseph Rivera for “operating expense”; 3. $166 reimbursement to Suzanne Moore for “operating expense”.
This PAC has been very active on behalf of the Team Mayer Board of Education candidates. During this campaign season, it sent multiple mass mailers, produced a video, distributed lawn signs, and promoted Team Mayer BBQs. So, the expenditure activity reported to NJ ELEC appear delinquent and incomplete.

The largest contributors are: Remington & Vernick, an engineering firm that has large contracts with Gloucester Township government; and Wade Long Wood & Kennedy, the law firm that serves as the Solicitor for the Gloucester Township Board of Education.
EXPENDITURES: This PAC, so far, has spent over $15,000 in support of the Team Mayer Board of Education candidates. The largest expenditures were: $6,000 given to EFO Dintino, Gallo, Albright Troxell; and $6,000 given to EFO Bucceroni, Zanghi, Ellis.
