Teen Charged With Murder Of Another Teen In South Jersey: Prosecutor
The suspect's charges also include conspiracy to commit murder, destruction of evidence and obstruction of law.
BRIDGETON, NJ — A teenager was charged with murder — days after a boy his age suffered an apparent gunshot wound, the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office announced Monday.
Authorities found the deceased victim — a 16-year-old Millville resident — the evening of June 25 on Mount Vernon Street in Bridgeton. On Friday, another 16-year-old was charged with murder.
The suspect was also charged with conspiracy to commit murder, destruction of evidence, hindering apprehension, and obstructing the administration of law. The teen is in custody, and the state will move for continued detention.

The prosecutor's office didn't publicly identify the suspect or victim, nor did the agency describe how the alleged shooting unfolded. The investigation remains active.
