GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ —Kyle Dobbins is coming home to where his football playing career began. Dobbins is transferring to Timber Creek Regional High School from St. Augustine Prep, according to published reports.
Dobbins grew up playing football in Gloucester Township, and it was his mother’s decision for him to transfer, the Courier Post reports. Dobbins, a Temple University commit, will be catching passes from North Carolina State-bound Devin Leary in what the newspaper says will be “one of the most dynamic duos in the state.”
The Sicklerville native rushed for 1,282 yards and 17 touchdowns with the Hermits last season, according to The Press of Atlantic City. Mark Reardon resigned as St. Augustine coach in the offseason, and has been replaced by former Hammonton coach Pete Lancetta.
