Timber Creek Football Falls to Shawnee in Sectional Final
Shawnee defeated Timber Creek, 7-0, to win the South Jersey Group IV title, according to nj.com.

The Timber Creek High School football team was held to just seven points on Sunday when it fell, 28-7, to Shawnee in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group IV final at Rowan University, according to nj.com.
Timber Creek’s only touchdown came in the third quarter, when Khalil Trotman hit Shaquese McIntyre with a 62-yard touchdown pass.
That play cut Shawnee’s lead to 14-7, but the Renegades scored twice more for the final tally.

Timber Creek was averaging 33.5 points per game, but Shawnee had held seven different opponents to one score or less, according to the report.
Both teams finished the season with records of 11-1.

Timber Creek entered the playoffs as the No. 1 seed, and defeated No. 8 Winslow, 32-12, in the first round.
The Chargers downed No. 4 Kingsway, 25-22, in overtime to advance to the sectional final.
Shawnee entered the playoffs as the No. 2 seed.
