Timber Creek School 5K Run Set for Sunday

The run is held in honor of a domestic violence victim and Timber Creek alum.

The Timber Creek High School Aim High 5K race is set for Sunday, April 19, 9 a.m. Registration is at 7:30 a.m.

The run honors Timber Creek Graduate Aimee Jo Girard (Class of 2007), a victim of domestic violence. It also generates donations for a scholarship fundraiser which has been established in her name.

Drivers may experience delays on around the school on Jarvis Road, Arlington Drive, Charleston Drive and Monticello Drive during the race, Gloucester Township Police said on Friday.

Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use caution when in the area as runners may be in the roadway at times.
