Suspects Sought After $3K In Goods Stolen From Gloucester Township Store: Police

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Three people stole more than $3,000 in merchandise from a Gloucester Township clothing store, authorities said. Police shared surveillance footage and photos Monday in an effort to identify them. (View the photos above.)

On June 25, two males and a female entered the Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store and began selecting merchandise, according to the Gloucester Township Police Department. The suspects entered the dressing room, removed the security tags and concealed the products in the female’s black handbag, the agency said.

The female exited the store while the male suspects selected more merchandise, police said. When the female suspect returned with an obviously empty bag, store security confronted the males, who left the items behind and exited the store, according to law enforcement.

A review of security footage found the stolen merchandise exceeded $3,000 in value, authorities said.
