Maceo Parker Concert Set For Monday Night In Camden Rescheduled
Parker was set to perform at Waterfront Park Monday night.

The Maceo Parker concert that was to have taken place at Waterfront Park in Camden has been rescheduled due to expected inclement weather, county officials announced early Monday afternoon.
The concert that was scheduled for Monday night has been rescheduled for Tuesday night, Aug. 8, 8 p.m. It was postponed after a flash flood warning was issued for South Jersey for Monday night. There is also a hazardous weather outlook in effect for the entire state.
“We’re happy to have been able to work with the artist and reschedule this event for so soon after its original date,” Camden County Freeholder Deputy Director Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Department of Special Events, said. “Chances for rain tomorrow are much lower than the high probabilities forecast for tonight, making for a more enjoyable, and safer, event.”
