Wheelchair-Bound Man Hit by Car on Peter Cheeseman Road in Gloucester Township

A 41-year-old man operating a motorized wheelchair on Peter Cheeseman Road was hit by a car Friday night, and was hospitalized with facial injuries.
Andre Taylor, of Sicklerville, was taken to JFK Hospital after being hit by a car around 5:17 p.m. Friday night. He was expected to be released, Gloucester Township Police said Monday morning.
The driver, 27-year-old Joseph E. Hatterer III, of Sicklerville, remained on the scene. He was uninjured and no charges had been filed against him as of Monday morning.

Peter Cheeseman Road was shut down for about two hours following the accident, which remains under investigation by the Gloucester Township Traffic Safety Bureau.
