Gloucester Township Family Struggled Financially Before Husband Allegedly Shot Wife, Self
Raymond Wychowanec allegedly killed his wife at Kennedy Hospital Wednesday morning. He lost his job in 2006, the Courier Post reports.

A Gloucester Township man who allegedly fatally shot his wife before apparently attempting to commit suicide was described as a ”man who would do everything for his family,” the Courier Post reports.
Raymond Wychowanec, 63, visited his wife, 62-year-old Denise, at Kennedy Hospital in Stratford around 9:25 a.m. Wednesday.
He allegedly proceeded to shoot her multiple times before turning the gun on himself, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo, Stratford Police Chief Ronald Morello and Gloucester Township Police Chief Harry Earle.

She was pronounced dead a short time later. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. He was in critical condition as of Wednesday afternoon.
Following the shooting, Stratford Police contacted Gloucester Township Police and requested they conduct a wellness visit of the couple’s home on the 800 block of Price Avenue in Glendora. While there, Gloucester Township Police discovered Ryan Wychowanec, 35, fatally shot.

Detectives are analyzing evidence, including ballistics evidence, to confirm the two shootings are related.
Denise Wychowanec had been through nine back surgeries, spent a lot of time in a rehabilitation center and was often confined to a wheelchair, according to the report.
Raymond Wychowanec was an employee at The Sands Casino in Atlantic City before it closed in 2006 and the family fell on hard financial times, according to the report.
One neighbor described him as a nice man who would do anything for his family, according to the report.
