Woman, Dog Killed In House Fire In Winslow Township

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — A woman died Friday morning in a house fire in Winslow Township, authorities said.

According to police, fire crews responded to 47 Winding Brook Dr. in the Atco section of Winslow Township around 11:45 a.m. after receiving a call about the blaze.

When crews arrived, they confirmed a 71-year-old woman died in the fire, according to officials and an NBC Philadelphia report. A dog also died in the blaze, the report said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
