Crash Kills Woman After Her Car Runs Off The Road In Camden Co.: Police

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — A woman sustained fatal injuries from a crash Sunday morning in Camden County, officials said.

The collision occurred at 6:22 a.m. on the Atlantic City Expressway in Winslow Township. An Infiniti passenger car was traveling west when it ran off the road and struck several trees, according to the preliminary State Police investigation.

The crash killed the driver — a 41-year-old Philadelphia woman — police said. Authorities didn't disclose her name.

October was Camden County's deadliest month on the road this year, with seven reported fatalities. Overall, 32 people in the county have died from collisions in 2023, compared to 47 at this point last year, according to state data.
