Annual Radio Auction to Benefit Cancer Center

WRNJ's live event to last two days in March.

A two-day long event to benefit the Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center is set to take off March 8, and everyone’s invited.

The 14 Annual WRNJ Radio Auction will air live on Washington Township’s WRNJ Radio (1510 AM, 92.7 and 104.7 FM) on Friday and Saturday, March 8 and 9, 2013, according to a press release from the hospital.

“Thanks to the generosity and cooperation of the area business community, a wide variety of interesting items and essential services will be up for bid,” said Lisa Dimicili of Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.

Auction items can be previewed and bids can be placed prior to March 8 now through 5 p.m., March 6 by visiting hrmcnj.org or wrnj.com, the press release said.

The highest bidder for each item, following the “live” on-air auction and including the pre-bidding timeframe, will be the actual winner, the release said.
