Businesses–Old and New–Boom in Hackettstown
Grand openings and expansions highlight October.
One of the hallmarks of Hackettstown is its business district, and there’s been no more exciting time recently than the past few weeks.
Several new businesses have either gone under grand openings, re-grand openings, and expansion of long-standing companies, according to a press release from the Hackettstown Business Improvement District.
On Oct. 16, the town welcomed the and renamed a portion of High Street to “M&Ms Chocolate Avenue” while hosting local and state officials.

Blue Ridge Lumbers Kitchen and Bath Showcase at 170 Liberty Street also expanded on Oct. 18, giving them a premier facility to demonstrate their services, the press release said.
Marty’s Reliable Cycle, just next door to the M&Ms store, celebrated its grand re-opening on Oct. 20 after a week-long celebration, according to the BID.

This past weekend, Hackettstown welcomed Advanced Sports on Route 57, providing an indoor turf field with soccer training and league play, the release said.
Mama’s Pizza & Café Baci recently celebrated 43 years in business, and Westside Hair Care and Skylands Pharmacy said hello to a decade of business while Stella G’s said happy birthday to five years of fun.
