Centenary University Wins State Ballot Bowl for 3rd Consecutive Year
Centenary Attains Its Highest Student Voter Registration Percentage, Placing 9th in the National Competition

Centenary University was the winner of the 2024 New Jersey Ballot Bowl, achieving the state's top spot for the third consecutive year. This year, 11.84 percent of Centenary students pledged to vote in November's general election, a record high for the University, which placed ninth in this year's national Ballot Bowl competition. An annual nonpartisan initiative, Ballot Bowl promotes voter registration and engagement across the nation's college campuses.
Dean of Student Success Kathleen Greco said, "Collaborative efforts between the Centenary University Center for Civic Engagement and Leadership, the University's current First Year Leaders, and the League of Student Voters led to our success." Vice President for Campus Life and Dean of Students Kerry Mullins added, "While recognition is important, Centenary is most proud of the increase in student engagement this year. We're very proud of our students for exercising their right to vote."
