Dispute Ends in Cocaine Arrest, Cops Say
Hackettstown man charged with cocaine possession.

A verbal dispute over a man allegedly doing cocaine turned into an arrest for drugs and drug paraphernalia on Friday, Hackettstown Police said.
Officers responded to Valentine Street shortly before 8:30 p.m. in reference to a dispute, Sgt. Darren Tynan said. The alleged victim of the dispute said Joseph Banghart, Jr., 41, was under the influence of cocaine, Tynan said.
The victim and Banghart were arguing about the use of the illegal drug, Tynan said.

It was later determined Banghart had a clear bag containing suspected cocaine in his possession, Tynan said.
Banghart was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, being under the influence of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
