Hackettstown man taken to hospital for head injury, police report.

A Hackettstown man was issued a summons after riding his bicycle while under the influence and hitting a car, Hackettstown Police said.
Luis Caceres, 39, was heading south on Rt. 182 on his bicycle Saturday when he rode directly into a stopped car at the intersection of Water Street, Sgt. Darren Tynan said.
When officers responded to the scene for a struck bicyclist, they found Caceres and detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage, Tynan said. Caceres said he had a head injury and was taken to Morristown Medical Center by the Hackettstown Rescue Squad, Tynan said.
