Free Meds Disposal Offered to Town Residents
Take Back program scheduled for April 27 at Hackettstown Municipal Building.

Part of a larger initiative, the Hackettstown Police Department will host a Medicine Take Back program, allowing residents to turn in unused, unwanted and expired prescription drugs.
The free service is available to residents, anonymously, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at the Hackettstown Municipal Building.
During the last event in September, 244 tons of prescription drugs were turned in nationwide. Since the start of the program three years ago, more than 2 million pounds of pills has been turned in, according to a press release from the police department.
