Gun-Toting Robbers Still Loose, Cops Say

Hackettstown Police are looking for three black males who allegedly robbed a person near an apartment and showed a handgun during the crime, Sgt. Darren Tynan said.

Just after midnight on March 22, police responded to Greenview Garden Apartments in the area of building H on Mitchell Road for a report of an armed robbery, Tynan said. The victim told police they were assaulted by three black males, and one showed a silver handgun, Tynan said.

The victim told police they were struck in the back of the head by an unknown object by one of the men, and an unknown amount of money was taken from the victim, Tynan said.

The victim was taken to Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.
