On Sunday, November 15th, the Hackettstown Historical Society marked the 40th anniversary of its founding, the 100th anniversary of the Plate house, now the Society’s Museum at 106 Church Street, and the dedication of the Milton K. Thorp Memorial Reference Room at the Museum. Thorp was the Society’s first archivist and the first official Hackettstown Town Historian.
