Hackettstown Set to Kick Off Hometown Holiday
Santa and lighting of town Christmas tree ready for Nov. 30.

With fall winding down and an October hurricane’s mess being cleaned up each day, Hackettstown is ready to move forward and usher in the season with its Hometown Holiday event.
On Friday, Nov. 30, the Hackettstown Business Improvement District (BID) will join with Centenary College to kick-off the celebration at 400 Jefferson Street. The event begins at 5 p.m. with carriage rides and Santa’s Workshop in the Seay Administration Building, according to a press release from the BID.
Hackettstown Mayor Maria DiGiovanni will meet Santa at the gazebo on the corner of Main and Moore Streets, where together they will flip the switch on illuminating the lights on the holiday tree.
