Hometowne Hardware Celebrates Spring in Hackettstown

Community based hardware and garden center brings focus back to Spring

April 13, 2017, Hackettstown, NJ - Many in the region know that Home Towne Hardware has been a long-time presence in Hackettstown. A vital part of the Hackettstown business district, it is the store that townspeople go to for their hardware needs, but more than that, they get a hometown experience. What makes it such a fixture? Many feel the owners Stewart and Elaine Ginsberg have been crucial to this Rockwellian town.

Spending their entire lives in the business, their heart and soul is apparent once you enter their shop. While many of the big stores have come into town, it’s only at this Main Street standby that you can buy everything from standard hardware and garden needs, to pool supplies, organic lawn products and Melissa & Doug wooden toys. And it’s evident that Stewart and Elaine take pride to bringing it all to the people they serve.

Elaine gets true pleasure showing off the latest decor in the seasonal department. While we wait for Spring to really take hold, she’s been busy stocking the shelves with unique garden and patio items. But as the seasons come and go, she is always enthusiastic about showing customers how to build their own Fairy Gardens and good places for a small fountain to go, both indoors and out.

Stewart on the other hand, is happy to help customers with any hardware need, but he also is well versed in how to choose the perfect Weber Grill. As a Weber Alliance exclusive dealer, he offers grills that are not available at any box store and have features expert grillers are looking for..

Let’s not forget that for the past several years, they have been the people behind the scenes that create the award-winning beautiful hanging baskets and potted plants around Hackettstown. Starting in the Spring, they usually continue blooming until early October, bringing much enjoyment to area residents.
