'Land Of Make Believe' Reopens In North Jersey—With Restrictions
Santa may be on extended vacation, but the rides and picnic tables are open.

HOPE, NJ - The imagination can run wild again as the Land of Make Believe reopens for the season Thursday, with a few restrictions aimed to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Thursday was when Gov. Phil Murphy rolled back some limitations on outdoor amusement parks, allowing them to open to the public and the Land of Make Believe was ready. But things won't be the same in the Acres of Fun and Miles of Smiles. There will be some new rules:
- Children under the age of 2 do not need masks.
- No masks in the water or on water-rides.
- NJ requires masks when inside.
- Online reservations available at www.Lomb.com
- Santa's Barn, Arcade, Halloween House and Pirates Fort will not be open due to social distancing requirements.
- All seating on rides will be at social distancing.
- The picnic area has been expanded throughout the park at the required distancing. Seating in the water park is at the required 6 foot intervals.
"We are excited to see you all and remember the Land of Make Believe is clean, safe and wholesome. We have been entertaining families for 66 years," officials said in a statement. "Please remember to bring your mask and practice social distancing."
