Man Drove Into Hackettstown Dog Groomer: Police
The man's foot slipped off the break, police said.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A driver accidentally crashed through the front window of a local dog grooming shop on Tuesday, Hackettstown police said.
Norman Barrier, 76 of Budd Lake, was driving his Jeep near the intersection of Center Street and Route 46 when he crossed Route 46 and crashed into Scrub-A-Dub Dog, police said. Barrier told police his foot slipped off the break, causing him to accelerate into the building.
Barrier had a cut on his face, but refused medical treatment, police said. He was issued a summonses for careless driving.

The building was heavily damaged, with broken glass and structural damage, police said. The store was closed at the time, and the owner said on Facebook they hope to be open on Thursday.
