Mansfield Township Awarded Sustainability Grant
The grant provides free low flow showerhead to residents. Mansfield property owners should check tax bill for registration information.

Mansfield Township (Warren Co), NJ – Mansfield Township was awarded a $2,000 Sustainable Jersey capacity-building grant funded by the PSEG Foundation. Grants were distributed to fund a variety of projects including water conservation and green team capacity building.
“The Township of Mansfield is excited to have received this grant to assist in the education of our residents to become a more sustaining municipality. Minimizing water use, waste and loss over time is heavily dependent on continually evaluating and adopting new technologies and practices. The Township of Mansfield is mostly in the Highlands preservation area, but as a community we have just begun a focus on general water conservation efforts “, Shirley Kocher, Mayor, Mansfield Township. “This grant will be utilized to purchase two different types of shower heads that will be distributed to Township residents on a first come, first served basis. The Township’s Green Team will also build awareness regarding water conservation. “
Residents of Mansfield Township are eligible for a free showerhead. Residents received instruction on how to register in the property tax bill insert delivered via USPS the first week of August.
