Morris County 4-H Introduces New Beekeeping Club

Seeking youth for new 4-H beekeeping club

Budd Lake – Imagine being responsible for over 10,000 bees in just one hive! That’s a lot of names to give and a lot to be proud of.

Looking for a new hive of friends? The Busy Bees 4-H Club is currently seeking members. Meetings will be held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Highview Farms. Kids in grades 4-13 (one year past high school) will learn everything about bees everything from the hive to honey.

Kelly Dziak, 4-H Program Associate, recommends the new 4-H club for youth who are interested in exploring beekeeping, learning how they can positively impact their environment, and building new friendships. “Since this is a new 4-H club in Morris County, youth members will have the opportunity to design the club to fit their interests and needs.”
