Centenary College NAACP is hosting its first open campus discussion in the President Board Room (2nd floor Lackland). This discussion covers the recent incidents of the Phillipsburg High School noose hanging. In analyzing this incident as both a racial and hate crime, Centenary's very own, Professor Matt Mendres will interview the NAACP Warren/Sussex County President, Charles Boddy, on the unfolding of this case, the societal reaction, and how Warren/Sussex counties are finding ways to create dialog about this and other incidents involving the acts of prejudice, stereotyping, and discrimination. The student leaders of Centenary's NAACP chapter invite you to join the discussion right here on the college campus we call 'home'.
