Sandy Bumps Early Week Hospital Procedures

Storm's impact forces Hackettstown Regional Medical Center to reschedule appointments.

Hackettstown Regional Medical Center is being forced to reschedule medical appointments due to impact of Hurricane Sandy. 

The hospital released the following information. 

Hackettstown Regional Medical Center continues to be fully operational for Emergency Department services and inpatient medical care.  Please note, however, that the following services scheduled for today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday) are being rescheduled until later in the week, pending the outcome of the storm, road conditions, etc.

  • Elective surgical procedures
  • Elective/routine diagnostic imaging tests
  • Counseling and Addiction Center programs
  • Outpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, Cardiac Rehabilitation and the FitnessCenter.

If you had one of the above procedures or programs scheduled, you will be contacted by the originating department as to a new date.  If you have specific questions regarding your scheduled procedure or program, please call the department directly.
