Soup & Pasta Contest at Meyersville Grange 188

Come out to The Grange, join your neighbors and friends, at the Soup & Pasta Contest for good food and a good time! Enjoy your meal while listening to toe-tapping Old-time Bluegrass music played by The Long Hll String Band.

Mark your calendar for the second Friday of the month: November 13.  A special program will honor our Men & Women in Service and our Veterans.

Bring a hearty appetite and your tasting skills, for you will be voting for your favorite Soup or Pasta Dish

Future Soup & Pasta Contests will be on  January 8, February 12, March 11, and April 8, 2016.

Each month you attend will help The Grange support these Local Charities and Service Organizations:  November  - Veterans and the Matthew Kantor Scholarship; January - Long Hill Twp First Aid Squad; February - American Heart Association; March - Food Pantry; April - Long Hill Twp Senior Center.

The Menu:  Soup & Pasta Dishes served with Bakery Bread from Biaggio’s Bakery (Stirling, NJ) and butter, coffee or tea.

The Contest:  Each person gets a ticket to vote for his/her favorite Soup or Pasta.  The top three soup/pasta Cooks get a ribbon and a prize.

The Grange Encourages YOU to BRING a Generous POT of SOUP or a PASTA Dish to make the meal a True Contest with many choices.  The COOK who brings a Soup or a Pasta Dish to share gets in FREE.  And YOU could be a Winner!

Admission:  $8.00 Adults; $4.00 Children 12 & under.

Homemade desserts, bottled water, and soda are available for an additional charge.
