'Styles for Smiles' to Aid Girl With Brain Tumor
Westside Hair Care to host fundraiser on Feb. 21.
The desire to help an ailing Hackettstown girl is picking up steam, as a local business is dedicating a full day of profits from a multitude of services this month.
Westside Hair Care on Stiger Street will hold “Styles for Smiles” to benefit Hackettstown Middle School sixth grader Margaret Walling. The youngster is currently undergoing treatments after being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.
The Hackettstown Tiger Wrestling Club and members of the Centenary Cyclone Wrestling team came together recently to hold a fundraiser for Walling as well.

Westside Hair Care’s event will be held Feb. 21. Proceeds from the following $20 services will be donated to Walling:
- Eyebrow waxing
- All children’s haircuts
- Wash/blowouts
- Redken Chemistry
- Select hair extensions or hair chalking
It is asked that when calling to make an appointment between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. that day, tell the receptionist it is in regards to the fundraiser. Payment for services is requested to be cash only as well.
